Polished and Internals Well Under Way
The console is now polished and the internal electronics are well under way.
Console Nearly Ready For Finish
The console is almost ready for initial finishing coats. Looking like an organ now!
Electronics are progressing nicely and fitting should commence in a week or two.
Standing and Keyboards Have Arrived
Keyboards are here and beautiful.
Console is all glued up and standing, ready to sand and lacquer.
Contruction and Assembly Progress
Panels completed and console assembled and glued.
Keyboards, pedal springs and bench mechanism have left Germay by FedEx and should arrive later this week.
All going according to plan!!
Construction Begins
Timber re-delivered and dressed nicely. Main console panel components under construction.
Keyboards due to leave Germany in the next few days, as are electronic drive components. Drawstops, pistons and toe studs leaving the USA next week.
Project Commences!
Timber has arrived and keyboards are almost finished at Laukhuff Orgel in Germany.
These, the bench mechanism and pedal board hardware are due to leave Germany on Jan 6th.
The timber is beautiful Rosewood. Sadly it arrived rough sawn, not dressed, so it must go back to the mill for a few days and then will come back looking beautiful!!
